5. Maui actually fished up the North Island. Maui’s brothers argued  and got their weapons and fought and that's why there are hills and valleys at the North Island. The South Island represents the waka and Stewart Island is the anchor.Image result for the weapon spearsImage result for stewart island

For reading I had to imagine to be Dave Lowston and write a letter about Davy Lowston and other people who had been stranded and write a letter to send for help.

A couple of weeks ago Thomas and Mum went to a birthday party. Then Dad and I went to count blue wrapped baleage in dad’s grey truck. Everywhere there was a stack of wrapped bales. We counted loads of bales. I got to climb on them and I ate Mentos and a packet of chips. The last load was stacked in a long line. I climbed and sprinted up to the top layer. Then I climbed on the one on the bottom. I got to close the gate. Then dad said we had to go home. The best thing about counting bales is I get time away from my annoying little cheeky brother Thomas.
