North Pole Thursday December 7th 2017

Ho ho ho today I checked my list twice and hundreds of children are being good this year I will make sure they get brilliant presents. Rudolph the silly reindeer is all was eating my milk and cookies the little rascal. It’s not that far until Christmas and Mrs Claus is going crazy on  how dangerous some country can be. I still can’t believe that some children are sending notes to the South Pole instead of the North Pole. The elves are playing and working hard like usual and today instead of reindeer the elves built a santa. Golly Christmas is the busy it time the year. Oh Mrs Claus is waiting with my hot chocolate. I don’t want it to get cold.

                 Get Out of here!

     Get out of here is a easy game. All you need is cards that have questions on them. How to play is simple. If you get three questions right you can leave the classroom. You start in the doorway if you get a card right you can move a step forward. The first one to leave the classroom wins and maybe gets to go to lunch, feed and read or go to the bus to go home.

       Grumpy Cat

Grumpy cat never changes her face and she is funnier than a bunny. She is my idol and she has a very big title. She has been in some movies, when I watch them they make me feel groovy.  I love this grumpy cat she will always protect her mat. Grumpy Cat is the best she is better than all the rest. She is so popular someone tried to spy on her with binoculars. Grumpy cat is so cute. She makes me smile. Sometimes I look at pictures of her for a while. Grumpy cat’s deep dark blue eyes glimmer in the morning sunrise.

As I gaze at the gorgeous, graceful, majestic whale shark, it's moonlight white spots are shimmering in the salty blue ocean. The tail is swishing from side to side with gleaming power. It’s dark, smokey back and white belly is used as camouflage from filthy predators. The mouth is 5 feet wide so they can eat a lot of teeny tiny plankton. It’s skin is slimy, smooth and oily. The body is hollow, wide and ginormous! The eyes are small like the size of a tennis ball. When it opens it’s mouth all you can see is starlight white bones. On their backs is pretty patterns. Their babies are so adorable. I love the way these beautiful, magnificent creatures live their lives. The amazing whale sharks are so cute and are one of my most favourite animals in the whole, wonky world.

The Moon!

Every time I look

out the window

I see the moon

sparkling like a tune.

I can hear

the waves crashing

against the rocks

and people went

on the moon

I think they

had long locks.

The moon glides

so so high

in the sky

it glides like

a fluttering fly.

The Legend of Maui and the Magic Fish Hook

1. Maui had magic powers that not all his family knew about.

2. One day he went and hid in the bottom of his brothers boat so he could fish with them.

3. Maui dropped his magic fishhook in the water.

4. He felt a tug then out jumped the fish of Maui.

5. Maui actually fished up the North Island. Maui’s brothers argued  and got their weapons and fought and that's why there are hills and valleys at the North Island. The South Island represents the waka and Stewart Island is the anchor.
